High-pressure conditions will gradually return from the west at the start of the week. Initially, however, a northwest wind will bring even thicker clouds on Monday, and isolated rain showers are possible in the north. As the day progresses, the skies will slowly clear, and the sun will increasingly break through, especially in the inner Alps. On Tuesday, the sun should shine practically all day long, and it will become increasingly warm, with midsummer-like conditions. High-pressure conditions will also dominate in the days that follow, continuing to bring midsummer-like weather with temperatures that are quite high for this time of year. In addition, there should be plenty of sunshine, with longer periods of sunshine especially in the mornings. Isolated thunderstorms are possible in the afternoons and evenings.
