Atlantic low-pressure systems will bring changeable and foehn-influenced southwestern currents to the Alpine region until the beginning of next week. At the front of these lows, weak disturbance troughs will occasionally develop, which are then directed towards the Alps from the southwest. These disturbances will weaken significantly on the northern side of the Alps due to the foehn-like southerly wind, while weak damming effects will occur from time to time in the area of the main Alpine ridge. Overall, however, the weather will generally present itself from its mostly pleasant, partly sunny, and largely precipitation-free side. This is accompanied by temperatures that are too mild for the season, with the frost line repeatedly lying above 2500m above sea level.
