The Galtür carnival is a highlight of the carnival season for locals and guests alike every year. The first meeting point for eager carnival dwarves is the Galtür primary school, from where a colourful parade leads to the sports and cultural centre in the afternoon. The fun costume parade is accompanied by the Galtür music band.
