Visnitz Alpe lodge

 Visnitz Alpe lodge at 1,822 metre is located in a peaceful lateral valley and the route there proceeds initially through a shady forest, past a whooshing waterfall and the idyllic Rotwegkapelle - hence it is particularly recommended for hot days.

Anyone looking for peace and tranquillity will be just right here, since as well as the steady babbling of the waters only the sound of the bells of the animals in the pastures accompany hikers’ footsteps.
Since the cosy  Visnitz Alpe lodge is also a member of ‘Genussregion Paznauner Almkäse’, natural regional delights such as cheese, butter and milk are provided as refreshments.

Rewarding summits such as the Mittagkopf at 2,249 metre and the Lahngangkopf at 2,471 metre are available as connecting tours from Visnitz Alpe lodge.
