In Paznaun, the annual open-air concerts and church concerts are about to take place in the villages of Galtür, Ischgl, Kappl and See. Visitors are cordially invited to enjoy the summer evenings with unique musical performances in the open air. The concerts promise to delight all music lovers with a wide range of traditional and modern brass band music.

Galtür

The Galtür brass band presents a series of concerts on the village square in Galtür from June to October. The season begins on 27 June at 8:30 pm with the guest brass band from Zams and continues with regular performances every Thursday. Highlights are the morning pint concert on 15 August and the marching concert on 8 September.

Ischgl

In Ischgl, the St. Nikolaus cultural centre will be the venue for the summer concerts, starting on 4 July with the guest music association Braz. The concert series also includes special events such as the opening concert for the culinary festival "Culinary Paznaun" on 5 July and the Paznaun Market Day on 31 August, where local and guest bands perform together.

Kappl

Kappl opens its concert series on 28 June with a special season-opening event "Kappl aufmarschiert". Further performances follow every Friday evening, including guest appearances from other bands such as MK Prutz and MK Breitenbach am Inn, ensuring a lively musical variety.

See

The music pavilion in See becomes the centre of musical activity with a variety of concerts, starting with the summer opening on 14 June. The brass band in See offers regular concerts throughout the summer and autumn, as well as special events such as the "Fest am Berg" on 15 August and the Pop Up Oktoberfest on 24 September.

Church concerts in Ischgl

The "Ischgl Church Concerts" concert series offers a varied musical programme on a total of 16 evenings, which includes both classical and modern pieces of music and creates a unique atmosphere in the region. This year's church concerts will be opened on 3 July 2024 by the Sängerrunde Ischgl and the female quartet "Echt Stark & Friends" at 20:30 in the parish church of St. Nikolaus. Other artists: Philipp Stark, Christian Deimbacher, Filippo Manci, Austrian Brass Consort, Fröch & Friends, Working Clarinets and more. Admission to the concerts is free. However, the parish church of St Nicholas is happy to receive voluntary donations.
