Description
The Bike&Hike route starts at the information office in the village center of Kappl. With the bike, the route first follows a road that leads to a forest path at the level of the Wiese hamlet. With large hairpin bends, the path leads past the Ruhesteinkapelle chapel to the Seßladtal valley. The traditional Untere Seßladalpe at just under 2,000 m is ideal for a snack. The bike can be safely parked in the bike depot. From here the hike starts. The hiking trail leads in the direction of Niederelbehütte, but branches off to the west at the level of Seßsee. Through a cirque it first goes up to the Seßladjöchli, before you reach the Seßladspitze (2,949 m). Up here you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Kartell reservoir.
Tip: Plan a stop at the Niederelbehütte and enjoy the view of the beautiful Seßsee as well as the view into the Verwall.
Arrival
The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.
